DIGITAL BLOOMS

DIGITAL BLOOMS

Digital Blooms reimagines the rose, a universal symbol of beauty, through digitally-native processes including photogrammetry and motion. Initially captured in high-resolution 3D scans, the rose is processed and animated into a panning digital composition. During the process, something unexpected occurred: pixel artefacts and glitches began to surface. These delicate formations shifted the work’s focus entirely.

These visual fractures weren’t errors, but new kinds of bloom in the space where the technology collapsed. The work embraces this fragility and celebrates unexpected form.
